Who am I? Good question but better question is who i am not? I am not a licensed or practicing contractor. In fact my job is totally opposite from this though I do have a lot of creativity. I am an amature DIY'er and have decided to add to the net of many DIY sites out there, but this time from an amatures point of view.
My main view point is "Don't believe what you see on TV" there are only few things you can do in a weekend if you are a person of one or if you don't have 20 friends to call on to assist. My first project I ever did in my home is the roof. That blog and learning expereince will be revisited here on this blog. That took me about 3 months to do and if you saw the front page you will know why.
My blog will cover projects from outside to inside as I have time to accomplish them or I have the resources. Projects to include, build a garage, pour a foundation, plumbing, laying laminate/hardwood floors, rebuilding a roof, an outdoor seating area, lawn care, etc.
I am not crazy I will hire people when it is feasible to do so but like so many other home owners it's sometimes easier to do things on your own. Do NOT TAKE WHAT I SAY on this blog as gospel, but use it as a guide of what to do or sometimes what not to do... LOL.
